The Savoy Hotel_Bedrooms

Having completed the full interior redesign of the Hotel Savoy’s ground floor in 2020, we were asked to take on the challenge of designing the second floor of the hotel. This was a shell and core project once full of office letting and conference rooms, now to be entirely remapped and re-concepted for ten luxury Standard rooms and three luxury Suites. 

Situated directly above the ground floor redesign that re-interpreted the building’s aesthetic identity in its Golden Age cinematic history, we wanted to give this new renovation a thematic continuation while also inviting privacy and serenity.

We aimed to put a huge focus on materiality and lighting—an oasis set in the centre of Limerick City, a retreat from the hustle and bustle below.

We architecturally, spatially and decoratively designed these rooms to create focal points that invited the eye to travel.
